We, at Permanent Way Entertainment, are very excited to announce that in collaboration with GlobalWatch Film, our new animation, Legend of Sepehr, has won the Remi Gold Award at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival 2025!
WorldFest-Houston is one of the oldest and most prestigious independent film festivals in the U.S., with big names like Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and Steven Spielberg winning the Remi award. The award is named after Frederic Remington, a notable Western American artist. Receiving this award is a huge honor for us, and another step to share our culture and our folklore tales with the world.
The Legend of Sepehr follows the story of Sepehr and his loyal cheetah friend, to save his family from the grasp of Ahriman and the world from the invasion of monsters. The journey ahead is fraught with life-threatening dangers, but Sepehr is not alone! He has his cheetah friend and powerful heroes to help him when all odds are against them.
The Legend of Sepehr is our new animated feature film, and it’s a big honor for us to be selected for the Remi Gold Award. Congratulations to the team behind the Legend of Sepehr; their hard work finally paid off.
