We are excited to announce that in collaboration with Octane MultiMedia, our first animated feature film, The Boy and the Sword has been released and is now available on Apple TV and Prime Video.
The Boy and the Sword follows the story of Karen, a seven-year-old boy who lives happily in Mada’in, an ancient Mesopotamian city ruled by a tyrant who terrorizes the people. One day, the Sultan ordered Karen’s house to be burned and his family to be killed, but fortunately, Karen’s uncle came to his rescue and managed to save Karen.
Twenty years go by, and now Karen is a grown man, raised in the house of Burokhim, a wise man and a good friend to Karen’s father. Burokhim taught the ways of the sword to Karen and made a fierce warrior out of him. Now Karen seeks revenge and justice for his family and his people, so he joins the resistance against the tyranny of the Sultan’s son to put an end to his reign. He is a real thorn in the Sultan’s eyes and fights back with vigor and determination.
The Boy and the Sword has won 16 awards, including the Best Animation Award at the Cannes World Film Festival Monthly Award, and garnered international recognition, further introducing the Middle Eastern culture to the world.
